Profile-The Counting House

Buckle up friends, this one is good.

Y’all know how much I love local boutiques and the role they play in our communities. Behind these brick and mortars are such heart…such drive. I love being able to take in how shop owners use their stores as a living, visual portfolios of their creativity.

The newest addition to Wealthy Street-The Counting House does this in the most charming way. I love when you can walk into a store and feel the aesthetic. The entire shop screams cozy from the roaring fireplace to the leather couch that faces it. And, they sell Gigi Pip hats which you know are MYJAM. The owner Megan Adams is funny, real, and easy to chat with. She’s curated the most rich collection which is a testament to her thoughtful taste: goods from local artisans, home decor, a children’s collection-it’s all a delight. Megan partnered with her friend Sorya Khozein to conceptualize and open the store…her dream.

The Counting House officially opens November 9! Fruition will be there from 10 am-12 pm serving up free juice and energy bites to help fuel your shopping. Also all weekend if you spend $150 you will receive 20% off you purchase.

Here’s a sneak peek of the goodness…

Make sure to go check out the latest addition to the Grand Rapids shopping scene and get yourself some cuteness (and while you’re there, make sure to give Megan a major high five).
