Pretty (Housecoat) in Pink

Back with another BURU housecoat.

If you follow along with me on Instagram, you know of my deep love of all things BURU. They’re such a fun follow and do a fantastic job of getting their loyal fans excited for their launches and collaborations. I shared more about the company itself in this blog post if you want to learn more about their interesting origin/story. Spoiler alert: they’re fab and doing fun things within the clothing industry.

The last post that I shared about BURU was a housecoat that I took for a winter trip to Detroit. I’m back with another housecoat outfit. The materials are actually similar-this one is a pretty pink color but also has the threads of metallic throughout as well as the fun heart shaped buttons.

I wanted to dress it up a bit, so paired it with my favorite sequin duster (now available in multiple colors, thanks Anthro) to get some of the longer layers that I love. The outfit still seemed a bit low key for my mood on this particular day, so I added a flat brim hat from fellow woman owned brand, Gigi Pip. Another item you know I love would be the Tory Burch Jessa loafers. I have them in a few different colors and wear them almost everyday especially throughout fall/winter. This pink pair has served as more of a neutral than I thought and matched perfectly with the tone of the dress.

I think it’s your turn to order a housecoat. I have transitioned them from fall right into the holidays and from the holidays into winter. They have a couple newer materials that I have my eye on now…

Sincerely,
Ashley
