Lyon Street Winter Walk
Let’s go for a winter walk…
It’s easy to feel a bit caged this time of year. With the days being cold, I miss the ‘outdoor stuff’ we take for granted during the summer/fall: dining on a patio, walks, ya know, not being frigid while you walk into Target. To try to beat a bit of our cabin fever, we decided to grab coffee and talk a little stroll.
Lyon Street in Grand Rapids makes the perfect spot for this. They have outdoor huts right now for you to enjoy your coffee drinks (complete with mini fireplaces). Of course after you enjoy your coffee no trip there would be complete without picking up a few baked goods from Nantucket and wine/cheese/market items from Martha’s.
What are you doing to beat the winter blues?
It was an unseasonably warmer day so I could get away with just a trench coat. My all black look underneath was brightened by a stripe neck scarf. Shades on and we were ready to rock.
