Fulton Street Market | Grand Rapids

When you have been around for over 100 years, you know what you’re doing.

There’s little that brings me joy like a good market. The Fulton Street Farmer’s Market in Grand Rapids is one of my favorites. They always have a great mix of unique vendors from local farms to small businesses. One of the reasons that I think they’re among the best in West Michigan, is the events they do along with their regular markets. They’ll host everything from live music performers to shopping nights where small makers set up their products.

It makes sense they have what they do down to a science, they were established in 1922. As you walk the familiar path of this historic market, you feel like you’re part of something.

On most trips, I don’t leave without fresh veggies, cheese, and fresh flowers (what’s more cheerful than florals peeking out of your market basket)? Other favorites from this particular market would be meat and the handcrafted wooden spoons.
