I love the look of a high bun. I think that it raises anyone's hair game in the most sophisticated way. Here's the best kept secret about them: they're insanely easy. Fastest way to look like you really cared that morning.
Another secret: it isn't all real hair. It's a bun donut that gives it shape/structure my hair alone could never achieve. I got three different size 'donuts' on Amazon for $6. SCORE. You do a high pony, slide whatever size bun you're looking for, fountain your hair around it, and wrap the excess hair around the base. Boom, done...effortlessly chic.
I paired my bun with a simple skirt, black tights, plain turtleneck, and scarf to add some life.
