Just Call Me Inspector Gadget (Because I Love This Trench)
There’s power in a good trench coat.
I can’t believe how much I have worn this trench coat. When I bought it, I was thinking it would come in handy on rainy days or when we are in that weird in between (post winter weather, pre real warm Spring weather). Jokes on me, I wear it all.the.time. It’s a fantastic top layer and brings some ‘buttoned-up-ness” to any outfit. The neutral tone helps it pair well with any look regardless of dressing it up or down.
For a day of co-working and lunch with a pal, I wore a pair of simple pull on black pants, one of my favorite BURU shirts (black and white stripes + a pink metallic Peter Pan collar=yes please), white slip-ons, and the trench. It was casual, but polished enough to sit in a meeting, on the go (#shoes) but not athleisure. For busy days where I’m running around for photoshoots/meetings/lunch this is my sweet spot.
