3 Festive Outfits

Tis’ the season to bring the festive-ness.

One of my favorite parts about this time of year are the outfits. While I think tulle, bows, and plaid are winners year around, they feel extra festive during the holidays. Here are three holiday-happy outfits for you…even if you don’t have the exact pieces, I would love to see how you style similar items. All of them include a piece or more from the Atlantic-Pacific x Nordstrom line. The designer, Blair, released a holiday collection full of the most lovely, tinsel-driven items. Ya know, because tis’ the season.

What’s your favorite holiday-ish items to wear during this season?

LAME FROM HEAD TO TOE
This top and skirt were both part of the holiday Atlantic-Pacific collection. I fell in love with these rich, lame, gold pieces…I’m all for a monochromatic moment. For this outfit I wore them together, but have already worn them separately: the gold top with a pair of black jeans and a leather jacket, the gold skirt with a black graphic tee.

My favorite ankle strap heels and a simple black overcoat completed this look.

BOWS UP TOP, TINSEL ON THE BOTTOM
Here with more Atlantic-Pacific. The top was part of her fall release (the updated version of the original pink bow top) and the skirt was in the holiday collection. I love her skirts because they’re extra full which makes for some great drama in a look. Complete with gold dots and some tinsel, I knew this would be the perfect item for some holiday events and beyond.

The black heels made another appearance (they truly go with everything) but also think this could be great with some sassy heels or patent booties.

A PLAID CAPE
Cannot get enough of this cape. It’s comfortable but chic, glam but warm. Best part about it? Dress it up or down. Wore over a more formal dress to an event and with some simple joggers and flats for For this outfit, I paired with a simple black shift dress, black tights, and black booties. I just had a day of meetings and errands, but the cape made the whole look feel a bit more festive.

My trusty sidekick, the Louis Vuitton Cabas Alto finished the look. Less of a look, more of a it’s-my-everyday-champion-of-a-workbag.

I hope these outfits bring you inspiration for your own festive outfits. Bring on all the tinsel, glitter, tulle, bows, and plaid. Could this season BE more magical? (Say it like Chandler Bing).

Sincerely,
Ashley
